Which Lactobacillus is contained in the gel and what is its taxonomy name?
Our hydrogel contains stimulans®, which is a cell-free extract from the lactic acid bacterium Levilactobacillus brevis DSM17250 (name before official taxonomy change: Lactobacillus brevis). The baby hydrogel does not contain any cells of Levilactobacillus brevis.
How does the gel work for psoriasis? Do the crusts need to be removed?
Start using the product as soon as possible when symptoms first appear. It is applied in the same way as any other gel or cream. The crusts should not be removed beforehand.
Can the product also be used on open wounds in the case of neurodermatitis?Does it help in the healing of cuts?
The product is not intended for use on open wounds and therefore not for the healing of cuts.
Why does it work for acne?
Healthy skin has a balanced interaction between the acne bacteria (Cutibacterium acne) and the commensal skin bacteria Staphvlococcus epidermidis. In acne, this interaction is out of balance. Our products are designed to bring the microbiome back into balance. The unique active ingredient stimulans® brings the microbiome back into balance.
Is it also intended for use in the intimate area?
The product has been developed so that it can be used in the external intimate area. However, it is not suitable for use on mucous membranes.
Are there clinical studies on the product?
Yes, the study was able to prove that there is no substance that has such a positive effect on the microbiome as stimulants.
